Product Description

Constructed on the sea bed deep beneath the waves, the hi-tech Aqua Raiders headquarters has a vehicle dock, a control station and crane arm, a mini-sub launching ramp and an exploration pod for deep-sea missions. Good thing it's protected by plenty of harpoon cannons and a firing aqua-rocket, because a giant squid is on the attack. With poseable tentacles and a skeleton in its transparent belly, this sea monster will be tough for the Aquabase crew to beat. 840 pieces.

Amazon.com Product Description
Deep beneath the ocean's surface, the Aqua Raiders have set up their new headquarters. With the Lego Aquabase Invasion kit, the Raiders finally have all they need to complete their secret mission, including a vehicle dock, control station, crane arm, and exploration pod. Ideal for young adventurers ages eight to fourteen, this LEGO set will encourages imagination and is fun to build.

Meet the Aqua Raiders
With this action-oriented set there is no limit to the adventures the child can embark on. Four diver mini-figures, a giant squid and skeleton are included, as well as a base with a vehicle dock, control station, crane arm, mini-sub launching ramp, firing aqua rocket, and exploration pod.

But wait! What's that lurking in the distance, moving toward the base in an ominous inky cloud? Oh no, the Aquabase is under attack by a giant squid! Good thing the base is protected by harpoon cannons and a firing aqua-rocket because this sea-monster is huge. Posable tentacles and a skeleton trapped inside this beast's transparent belly intimidate the young explorers, but they can fight back or escape with their high-tech equipment. Will the Raiders survive or meet their untimely demise? The giant squid's tentacles really open and close, so that it can grasp the Raiders. But luckily the Raiders can fire back using the working harpoon, or quickly escape with the mini-sub launching ramp. When the monster finally leaves, the Raiders can enjoy a cup of coffee at the control panel or take the exploration pod for an undersea mission.

This cool under-sea set offers a project for parents and children to construct together. Like many LEGO products, it is both easy to assemble and durable. Other Aqua Raiders sets can be joined with this one for more action and adventure. Kids love to play with the giant squid and ride the divers around in the pod. Overall, this set is amusing, realistic, and a great value for the years of excitement it provides. (But be careful, this product has small parts and is not for use with children under age three.)
